Debra Jessen Narratives, LLC works with nonprofit organizations to develop and implement robust institutional fundraising strategies. My goal is to support nonprofits by working together to build an equitable future through sustainable,
strategic grant funding.
I provide an array of services that include research, writing, editing, reporting, and an overall grant strategy.
My Approach
I founded Debra Jessen Narratives to use my expertise and passion for grant writing to support nonprofits that keep our communities whole with incredible, necessary work. I believe fundraising can be creative and exciting as well as strategic and focused. In particular, grant proposals are an ideal vehicle to invite funders into partnerships. Foundations and government agencies appreciate a well-crafted proposal that directly aligns with their guidelines and funding goals.
About me
In addition to fundraising and communications, I am an Adjunct Professor at St. Catherine University, teaching Business Law to undergraduate women. I have a BA from Macalester College and a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. When not working, I enjoy being with my beautiful family, walking and running with my dog, and working in my gardens.
